02 - Add almond butter to the mixture and mix vigorously until fully blended and no streaks remain.
03 - Gently fold in chocolate chips and chopped nuts (if using) until evenly dispersed throughout the oat mixture.
04 - Cover the bowl or jar securely with lid. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, to allow oats to soften and flavors to meld.
05 - In the morning, give oats a thorough stir to redistribute settled ingredients. Add an extra splash of milk if texture appears too thick.
